Actor Faizon Love was arrested on Tuesday night following a violent altercation at an Ohio airport.The 48-year-old was charged with assault and held in jail overnight after a argument with a valet at John Glenn Columbus International turned physical.
On Wednesday police released a video of the incident, which unfolded at the baggage claim area.
The footage appears to show Love grabbing him by the back of the neck and slamming his head into the desk, and tossing him to he ground.
He then grabs him from the floor and rams him head first back into the side of the desk, before tossing him to the ground once more
Gaines eventually gets to his feet and tries to retaliate with punches, but airport staff rush in to separate them.
A separate video obtained by TMZ shows him taunting the victim, telling him 'Let's go boy... let me show you what a man do.'
The police report said Gaines suffered a cut above his eye.
It also bills Love at 6'1" and 370lbs, versus Gaines' 5'7" and 125lbs.
According to the Colombus Dispatch, Love was held in the Franklin County jail Tuesday night.
He appeared in Franklin County Municipal Court the following morning, pleaded not guilty and was released on $2,000 bond.
It reported that if Love - who has lived in Columbus for about a year and a half - is convicted, the charge could carry a penalty of as long as six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
His attorney John Moore told the paper there was 'a disagreement over payment'.
Love has appeared in dozens of films and TV shows, Real Husbands Of Hollywood, Parent Hood, The New Edition Story, and most famously as the Gimbel's department store manager who spars with Will Ferrell's Elf in the 2003 Christmas comedy.
