One of his projects is not music—but as an endorser of the premiere vodka, Shpilka Vodka (shpilka is Russian for “stiletto heel’). He’s been product placing the liquor on a commercial that is currently seen on Youtube, filmed by Remrod.
Along with being an endorser, under his label Slot-A-Lot Records/Full Dekk Music Group, he just released the single, “I’m Here” from his upcoming mixtape, “Chances Make Champions” that will be released Oct 31. This week, he along with his protégé Solo performed the single on Fox 2 Morning Show in St Louis
Chingy also will be making appearances at two upcoming events promoting his music and the vodka. On Oct 27, he will be performing at the Aspen Bar and Lounge in O’Fallon , Ill. Central West End .
Just last month, he was in concert in Guam where he also visited several schools.

Congratualtions to STL based singer Tiffany Elle who was voted to open up for Chicago New England ’s T-Soul ) in the competition that was conducted by Johnson that ran Aug 27 to Sept 28 with the release of her online album, Acoustic Soul Sessions.
Contestants had to submit a video of all original music and all acoustic instrumentation and each week one contestant was selected by Johnson. On October 1st a total of 4 finalists was announced on Johnson’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
Polls were then open where fans voted for their favorite contestant through October 8th at www.pollcode.comand Johnson announcing the winner.
On her Facebook page Elle said, “I can't say thank you enough to all of my friends and family and even people I didn't know!!...for having my back throughout this competition. The love and support that my city has shown me is completely unreal. You all made it possible for me to be able to participate in a wonderful opportunity. I couldn't have done it without ALL OF YOU!!! You all represented sooo hard for me. And for that, I am eternally grateful.”

This week we spotted two STL personalities this week. The first is fashionista Joni Marie Ross who wore a gold top, belt, and black fitted capris at Project Design at St Louis Science Center Exploradome this week. She is also a designer of her line J Marie which will be featured in her upcoming show Nov 4 at The Paragon. The dapper dan is Dwaine Jones aka Truallred. A Mccluer North alum, he sported a red vest and tie with black shirt and pants and shined shoes at a wedding he attended recently. This hood star who gets his fitness on at Snap fitness in the Central West End also rocked the shades and well groomed locks.
Which pop singer came to St Louis recently just to visit a rock pioneer ? The pop singer is a female who had a huge #1 hit in the 1990s that was a cover written by a 1980s pop superstar and who was famous for her "lack of locks."
