Justin Bieber's topping the chart and reaching new milestones once again, thanks to an all-star collaboration with some of hip hop's biggest names.
DJ Khaled's new single "I'm the One," featuring Biebs, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne and Quavo from rap trio Migos, has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It's the first rap song to debut at #1 since Eminem's "Not Afraid" seven years ago. It's also just the 28th song to enter at #1 since the chart started in 1958.
Thanks to this song, Justin is now only the third artist ever to have debuted at #1 with more than one song. He first did it in September of 2015 with "What Do You Mean?" The only others who've done it are Mariah Carey, who did it three times, and Britney Spears, who did it twice.
Not only that, but Justin is already in the top 10 of the Hot 100 thanks to "Despacito," his collaboration with Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi: that track is currently #3. Justin's the first artist to have two songs in the top three at the same time since he himself did it in 2016 with "Sorry" and "Love Yourself."
"I'm the One" is also the fourth entry in a string of recent hits where Justin is simply a featured artist, not a lead artist. The others were "Cold Water," "Let Me Love You" and "Despacito."
