Reports had it yesterday, Monday April 11, 2016 that Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde reportedly does not pay her tax.
But actress reps when reached out to clearly stated the actress not paying her tax is a false accusation.
They said, "That is not correct at all, we will send out a press release very soon. We are working with the government to find out who released that article."
E24-7 Magazine reported Omotola, the multiple brand ambassador had never filed her personal income tax return papers.
They reported a source saying, “It is unfortunate she has become so vocal, criticising the government but ignorant of her obligation as a citizen to pay tax. She is not tax compliant. She failed to know that it is from the tax that she and others pay that government will provide all the amenities and infrastructures she mentioned. She needs a lot of education.”
